Helpful Tips for Moving with Pets

We all know that moving can be stressful and your furry babies feel it too! Here are some suggestions for making it a bit easier on them…and you!

Enlist your trusted pet care provider or a friend to watch your pet on moving day. I am sure your friends would much prefer keeping your pet company then say…moving a couch!
Have their favorite toys, beds and feeding station set up upon arrival. The familiar smells, feel and sight of their belongings can be a comfort.
Try to stick to their routine as much as possible. Feeding time, walks, rides, playtime etc. Pets (dogs especially) appreciate routine.
Have their food, medication in an easy place to unpack upon arrival. Who wants to be digging around boxes at the end of a long day?
Give them extra love! They will give it right back!
